Guides Update (9/23)
· One min read
Every price shown in every feature guide is now masked. No real customer pricing appears anywhere on the site.
What changed
- All guides, all prices. Unit prices, line totals, subtotals and any other price figure in the screenshots and text have been replaced with fictional stand-ins.
- Easy to spot. Every stand-in price ends in .55 —
$10.55,$98.55,$1,204.55— so you can confirm at a glance that a screenshot has been masked. - The numbers won't add up. Because each price is a stand-in, line totals and subtotals won't reconcile with the figures above them. That's expected; follow the steps rather than the arithmetic.
- One exception. The savings figure on cross-reference results is shown as-is — it's a difference between two products, not anyone's price.
For more detail on how masking works, see How they're masked on the About these guides page.
If you spot a price that doesn't end in .55, let the documentation team know and we'll re-capture that step.
