Order Multiple Parts at Once with Quick Order — Test results

This demo walks the Quick Order journey on the Regal Rexnord UAT site (https://uatwww.rrxpreview.com/) as the test user agent@forliion.com (Copilot Agent).
Quick Order lets an authenticated B2B customer enter multiple part numbers directly into a grid — no browsing or searching — resolve each to a live product with pricing and availability, adjust quantities, and push the whole set into the cart in one action.
Parts used: 10442253, 700543, 10287379, 10013777, 30189120.
The run ends at the Checkout form; no order is placed.
Prerequisites
Step 0 — Open the site. Navigate to https://uatwww.rrxpreview.com/. No cookie consent banner was presented on this session.
Step 0b — Verify the authenticated user. The browser session is authenticated as the test user. The Dashboard at https://uatwww.rrxpreview.com/accountmanagement shows the required header "Welcome Copilot Agent" with the Buyer role, on account Regal Rexnord Sales LLC — U3427563 EASTERN INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION, Branch 108.
Note the Quick Order link in the top-right of the Single Part Order widget — that is the entry point into the journey. The widget beside it handles one part at a time; Quick Order handles many.
Setup — Cart must be empty. Confirmed before starting: the header cart badge reads 0, so every line item observed later in this demo comes from the Quick Order grid.
Happy Path
Step 1 & 2 — Open the Quick Order page and verify the entry grid. Navigating to https://uatwww.rrxpreview.com/quickorders/quick-orders presents the Quick Order grid: five empty rows with Catalog #, Part #, Customer Part #, Qty, Product Description, Warehouse, Unit Price and Total Price columns.
Also available: CHECK INVENTORY for selected rows, a PO Line toggle, RESET FORM, ADD ROWS, and the three green icons top-right for downloading the Excel template, uploading a filled template, and the Copy & Paste tool. This demo uses direct keyed entry.
Step 3 & 4 — Enter part 10442253 in row 1. Typing the part number into the Part # cell triggers a live lookup against the catalog and the customer's price list.
Row 1 resolves to Link-Belt 10442253 Take-up Blocks — Link-Belt Spherical Roller Bearings, and the grid back-fills everything around it: Catalog # BS227864, default Qty 1, Unit Price $876.64/EA, and Total Price $876.64. The description is a live link to the product detail page. No searching or browsing was required — just the part number.
Steps 5–8 — Enter the remaining four part numbers. Each part number was keyed into the next row and resolved independently:

Note the grid automatically appended an empty row 6 once row 5 was filled, so entry can continue without clicking ADD ROWS.
Step 9 — Verify the rows (validation observed). Four of the five parts resolved cleanly with a description, quantity and price. Part 30189120 resolved to a real product (Warner Electric 30189120, catalog 5321-101-006) but Quick Order flagged it inline:

This is Quick Order's per-line entitlement check working as designed — the part exists in the catalog but is not purchasable on this account. The Quick Order Summary subtotal of $2,550.93 (= $876.64 + $76.51 + $74.90 + $1,522.88) confirms the unavailable line is excluded from the order total rather than silently priced.
Deviation from the script — row 5 removed. Because part 30189120 cannot be purchased on this account, the row was removed with its red ✕ control so the journey could continue. The demo proceeds with the four purchasable parts. The remaining rows renumbered and the empty row retained its index (6).
Step 10 & 11 — Change the quantity on row 1 to 2. Editing the Qty cell re-prices the line in place: Total Price on row 1 moves from $876.64 to $1,753.28 (2 × $876.64/EA).
The Quick Order Summary panel recalculates alongside it — Subtotal $3,427.57 and Total Weight 341.24 LB — so the buyer sees order-level impact without leaving the grid. From here the buyer can ADD TO LIST (save as a shopping list), ADD TO CART, or QUICK CHECKOUT straight through.
Step 12 & 13 — Add to cart. A single ADD TO CART click pushes every valid line into the cart at once. The confirmation banner names each item added:

The header cart badge goes from 0 to 4, and the grid resets itself to five empty rows so the buyer can immediately key the next batch.
Step 14 — Open the cart. https://uatwww.rrxpreview.com/shoppingcart carries the Quick Order values through unchanged: Order Subtotal $3,427.57, Total Weight 341.24 LB — identical to the Quick Order Summary panel. Shipping is calculated at shipment. From here the buyer can CHECKOUT, ADD TO LIST, or CREATE QUOTE.
Step 15 — Verify the line items. All four parts arrived with the right catalog number, quantity and price, and the cart enriched each line with data Quick Order did not show — product image, unit weight, warehouse code, requested ship date and estimated ship date:

The quantity override from Step 10 survived — part 10442253 is in the cart at qty 2, everything else at qty 1. Two lines also offer VIEW SUBSTITUTE where the requested date is further out.
Step 16 & 17 — Proceed to Checkout. CHECKOUT lands on https://uatwww.rrxpreview.com/checkout/delivery.
Section 1 — Payment & Shipping Information is pre-populated from the account: billing address EASTERN INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION, PO BOX 540559, WALTHAM MA 02454-0559 US, with PO# (required) and End Customer PO # left for the buyer. The Order Summary carries the Quick Order figures through untouched — Order Subtotal $3,427.57, Order Total $3,427.57, Total Weight 341.24 LB — plus the Terms and Conditions acknowledgement.
Shipping Information and Review Order. Further down section 1 are Shipping Preference, Shipping Method (Regal Rexnord's Best Way / Customer Specified Carrier / Customer Pickup), Shipping Priority, Shipping Attention To, Shipping Instructions, and Acknowledgement (None / Email / Fax). NEXT would advance to section 2 — Review Order.
Order Detail — all four Quick Order parts carried through to checkout. Every line entered in the grid is present, at the entered quantity and price, and the checkout resolves each warehouse code into a named facility:

Step 18 — Stop. As specified, the run stops at the Checkout form. No order was placed and no PO number was entered.

Result: journey passed. Quick Order took five keyed part numbers to a fully priced, warehouse-sourced checkout with a single Add to Cart, with no catalog browsing at any point.
The one non-pass (step 9) is a data condition, not a defect: part 30189120 is not purchasable on account U3427563. Quick Order caught it at entry, explained why inline, excluded it from the subtotal, and let the buyer continue with the rest of the order — which is exactly the desired behavior. Choosing a purchasable fifth part would make this journey pass end to end.
