Prerequisite: Add Part to Cart
Part number 700180 (Catalog #: NP-16, Your Price: $76.51) was entered in the Single Part Order widget on the My Dashboard page. After triggering the product lookup, the ADD TO CART button was clicked. The cart badge updated to show 1 item.
Step 1: Navigate to the Cart Page
Navigated to the Shopping Cart page (https://uatwww.rrxpreview.com/shoppingcart). The cart shows 1 item — a Sealmaster Mounted Cast Iron Two Bolt Pillow Block Ball Bearing at $76.51/EA. The Cart Summary panel on the right shows Order Subtotal of $76.51 and a collapsible Quote Number section (with a ＋ icon) below the CHECKOUT and CREATE QUOTE buttons — this is where an existing quote can be applied to the cart.
Step 2: Locate the Apply Quote Field
Clicked the ＋ Quote Number accordion toggle in the Cart Summary panel. The section expanded to reveal a "Choose Quote Number" input field and an APPLY button. A disclaimer note states: "Any order submitted with a quote will be pending review."
Qty Updated to 4
On the Cart page, the quantity for part 700180 (NP-16) was updated from 1 to 4 and the Update button was clicked. The Cart Summary recalculated: Order Subtotal updated to $306.04 (4 × $76.51/EA), Total Weight 8.4 LB.
Step 3: Enter Quote Number Q-118806
Clicked the Choose Quote Number field to open the quote selector dropdown. Quote Q-118806 was selected (checkbox checked). The textarea shows Q-118806 and the APPLY button became enabled (solid navy).
Step 4: Click Apply Quote — ✅ Success
Clicked the APPLY button with Q-118806 selected. The page reloaded and the quote pricing was immediately applied to the cart.
Step 5 & 6: Verify Quote Applied and Pricing ✅
Quote Q-118806 was successfully applied to the cart. The line item pricing updated:
